The Highest Bridge In The World
Tsingtao Bar
This was the only bar in this town offering Tsingtao. It is quite expensive so it's not as popular as the cheap local beer.
Luckily they did some renovation work just on this day so the cooling system for the draft beer was off. Meaning the beer was warm and I felt a bit sick. So I took a bottled local beer which was at least cold.
Bridge across the Mekong
I could just take some bad pictures of the bridge over the Mekong river. The river divides the city into two parts - there are basically bars on the other side.
Public transportation
This is the public transportation system in this small city in the Yuxi district. It consists out of basically golf carts.
Advantage: No noise at all!
Disadvantage: No windows - just a front shield.
Shopping
There are a lot of shops that basically have the size of a garage. They even look like it when they are closed.
There were plenty of these in this town as most residential buildings have them in the ground floor.
So if the window of your bedroom is directly above these kind of shops there is no real hope to sleep before midnight. There are plenty of shops that are open for the whole evening. There are also bars and other venues for night entertainment there...
Simple Truck
Restaurant in Yunnan
A restaurant in another city has these packed dishsets. This way they are guaranteed to be clean. Disadvantage is that you have to pay 1 Yuan extra (at around 10 € Cents).
Yuxi Waterfall
Hongta Park
This is the Hongta Park in Yuxi City. The park is owned by the Hongta Cigarette Factory. You can also see the Hongta tower.

Internet access again
This is the yard of a restaurant in Yuxi City. Quite nice and if the weather would have been better we could have eaten outside.

Taxis in Yuxi
This is a taxi in Yuxi - most of the taxis there are quite old. The reason for this is also the taxi fares in this town. Flagfall is 5 RMB and rides within the town are only 5 RMB. The flagfall in Shanghai is 11 RMB, so that they can pay for better taxis. ;-)
A taxi in Kunming is 7 RMB plus 1 RMB fuel surcharge.
