A foggy SWFC
Sadly just a very foggy picture of the Shanghai World Financial Center with Jin Mao in the background. The weather was really bad.
Shanghai Legend
This is a complex named "Shanghai Legend" which is directly next to Zhangjiang High-Tech-Park Subway Station. I did house some restaurants when I left Shanghai more than two years ago.
Now it's basically full of restaurants and you can get every kind of food there. There is now also Pizza Hut (and not only Papa John's like before) and of course Starbucks and Subway.
In front of Shanghai Legend you can see the Tram that is currently under construction.
This is the current subway station which is a lightrail station right now. In between the station and Shanghai Legend is the constrction site for the Tram.
They are right now building a new underground subway station which means they will pull down this one in the future. This is done due to the extension of Line 2 to Pudong airport.
People's Square Interchange Area
This interchange in between Line 1 and 2 was completely new for me. I just knew these long tunnels. Now there is even some daylight here.
Qibao Old City in Shanghai
This is a famous tourist destination in Shanghai. It's one of the areas that really are old (in some parts). Most old city parts in Shanghai are demolished by now.
The Highest Bridge In The World
Tsingtao Bar
This was the only bar in this town offering Tsingtao. It is quite expensive so it's not as popular as the cheap local beer.
Luckily they did some renovation work just on this day so the cooling system for the draft beer was off. Meaning the beer was warm and I felt a bit sick. So I took a bottled local beer which was at least cold.
Bridge across the Mekong
I could just take some bad pictures of the bridge over the Mekong river. The river divides the city into two parts - there are basically bars on the other side.
Public transportation
This is the public transportation system in this small city in the Yuxi district. It consists out of basically golf carts.
Advantage: No noise at all!
Disadvantage: No windows - just a front shield.
Shopping
There are a lot of shops that basically have the size of a garage. They even look like it when they are closed.
There were plenty of these in this town as most residential buildings have them in the ground floor.
So if the window of your bedroom is directly above these kind of shops there is no real hope to sleep before midnight. There are plenty of shops that are open for the whole evening. There are also bars and other venues for night entertainment there...
Simple Truck
Restaurant in Yunnan
A restaurant in another city has these packed dishsets. This way they are guaranteed to be clean. Disadvantage is that you have to pay 1 Yuan extra (at around 10 € Cents).
Yunnan Expressway
Emergency stop lane because it goes downhill for quite a long time and this can be an issue for an overloaded truck.
Yuxi Waterfall
Hongta Park
This is the Hongta Park in Yuxi City. The park is owned by the Hongta Cigarette Factory. You can also see the Hongta tower.

Internet access again
This is the yard of a restaurant in Yuxi City. Quite nice and if the weather would have been better we could have eaten outside.
