Something completely different
The German Bundestag now implemented the public petition.
This means that you can also sign a petition entered by someone via internet.
There now is a petition that I also signed as I can fully support this. For half a year now a foreign citizen that marries a German has to make a German language certification to be allowed to enter the country.
This is just plain stupid.
So if you are a German citizen you might want to sign this petition here:

To be a Resident Alien" in the USA there is no requirement to speak English. However, to gain citizenship, English is required.
For citizenship I can understand it - and this already was the case. But you also needed a German certificate to even get a permanent residence - which I already thought would be stupid.
But this just tops it - get married but don't live in your home country please.
