Today is the last day before the Chinese Labour Day Holiday (1. of May until 7. of May). Because of that Chinese flags can be seen everywhere on the street - many street lamps also have these flags. I'll leave Shanghai on Monday for four days to flee from all the tourists that are arriving. :-)

I'm working in the Zhangjiang HighTech Area in Shanghai/Pudong. In this area you can also find the new German Centre which has plenty of offices to offer. They also have parties from time to time.

There is currently a lot of construction work going on here. Two more metro lines will have a station here. This is also a preparation for the Expo 2010.
My office is also nearby the Maglev (Transrapid) Terminal station in Pudong. You can see the maglev station in the back of this picture. The building in front is the metro station (metro line no. 2).
